“Reaching out to a heart in doubt, that’s how you change the world”

-News Boys

  • I see it as a true privilege to walk alongside people as they discover strengths,

passions, and new ways to grow. I currently work with adults and most often support

individuals facing challenges like anxiety, depression, grief and loss, or life transitions.

My role isn’t to tell you who you “should” be—it’s to help you find your own path, build confidence in your skills, and move toward the life you envision for yourself.

  • No matter where you are on your journey, I’ll meet you there. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and supportive space where you can explore what wellness means for you. I use a blend of mindfulness practices and cognitive-behavioral strategies to help you build a personalized “toolbox” that truly fits your needs.

Because of my background as an educator, I love teaching and helping people understand how their brain, body, life experiences, and environment all shape who they are today—and who they want to become. I believe knowledge can be empowering, and I enjoy helping clients discover practical ways to use that knowledge for healing and growth.

  • I hold a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Michigan State University and bring decades of experience providing counseling in outpatient settings and high schools. Over the years, I’ve trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), both of which give me tools to support clients who may be carrying the weight of past trauma or struggling with difficult emotions.

I also enjoy incorporating art into therapy when it feels right, drawing on my love for creative expression as a way to practice mindfulness. On a personal note, I’ve learned a lot from navigating my own sensory sensitivities, and that experience helps me bring empathy, flexibility, and real-world insight into my work with clients.
