  • This will be a FREE Event, but donations to Serenity House of Flint are encouraged.

Together, We Will:

  • How to recognize mental health concerns with your child

  • Understand different types of communication styles, and how to have conversations around mental health that are safe, open, and productive.

  • Explore community resources, and create a space of understanding

  • Create a plan that works for you, and your family, on how to address and your child’s mental health needs

What is Serenity House of Flint:

Serenity House of Flint is a non-profit organization in Flint, MI. Their mission is to create a community of peer recovery for those who have, or are currently struggling with substance abuse. They provide holistic based services such as yoga, Reiki, accudetox, and recently started offering transportation. For more information, please follow the link below:

About the Presenter:

Brittany owns Worthwhile Wellness and is currently providing outpatient therapy to both adolescents and adults. Prior to opening Worthwhile Wellness she worked at Community Mental Health providing crisis services within the community, hospital settings, and in the homes of children and families. She has a passion for connecting families and children to the resources that they need for everyone to be successful.

Worthwhile Wellness, PLLC is hosting Clinician LGBTQ+ Allyship Virtual workshop. This event will be an opportunity for clinicians who provide services to the LGBTQ+ population to better understand sexuality, intersectionality, minority stress, hormone replacement, and writing letters of support, per WPATH standards of care.
